So the next time someone calls, go ahead and walk around the house talking, but stay away from the kitchen.

Bags and boxes of food seem endless when you start to snack out of one, and before you know it, they are empty and you have no idea how much you’ve just eaten. Pour a serving of whatever it is into a bowl, so you see exactly what is being eaten and how much.
Go ahead and satisfy that sweet tooth from time to time, it won’t hurt you. It actually is good for you because you are not depriving yourself of something you want, and this avoids binging on it later when the craving gets out of control. Choose kid’s sized portion of sweets, like a child sized ice cream cone when you take the kids out for a treat.
